CHARACTER INFO
Name: Hilda
Gender: Female
Source: Pokemon B&W
Canon point: Post-game, after Team Plasma's and Unova Elite Four's defeat, but before any post-game adventures
Age: 16 years
Colour: #FF82AB
Chumhandle: unpolishedValkyrie

History: Hilda's page as well as the main plot hopefully should cover all the bases.
Personality: Persistent, energetic and borderline cocky, Hilda takes the world head-on. A traveler at heart, she prefers to keep moving, even if only a little at a time, and doesn't like to stay in the same spot for too long. She likes a good challenge, but can get frustrated a bit easily, though she tends to use the frustration as fuel; however, she's not above asking for help with solving a problem if it turns out she can't do it on her own. She's brave to the point of audacity, and while she doesn't always think everything through, she's a fairly gracious loser. A friendly and honest sort of person, she doesn't make a habit of lying to anyone about anything - Reshiram didn't acknowledge her as Hero of Truth for nothing - but she's not perfect. She tries to live with no regrets, but one in particular is weighing on her mind at the moment of her entry, and she's playing the game partly to put it from her thoughts.
Abilities & physical limitations: While athletic, possessing above average strength and stamina, she is still only human, and possesses no supernatural ability. She can explore any terrain fairly easily, but considering she is a Pokemon trainer, she has very little idea how to fight herself. She knows some martial arts, taught to her mostly by her fighting-types, but there are only so many things you can punch in the face and be done with.
Appearance: Picture!
• 5'8"
• lean and muscular
• clothing is easy to move in
• bag is always overstuffed

Strife Specibus: fistkind
Prototyping: Her whiny defeatist Archeops threw a tantrum and landed in the kernelsprite.
Title: Striker of Balance
In-game abilities: Striker is an active class with high focus on speed and offense, offering very little defense. Strikers begin - their purpose is to take initiative and start things, to get and keep the ball rolling so other players can follow more easily, though it isn't necessarily a leader's role. Balance deals with equalization and compromise, in physical and any other sense. Players with this aspect tend to be excellent peacemakers at any level, and as they acquaint more with it it can affect them physically, giving them an easier time landing on their feet when taking a hit, or helping them work with otherwise clumsy objects more easily.
Planet:
• Land of Spark and Flame | A dusky, hot world with rocky ground and stormy skies. Little vegetation grows, and the only waters are hot mineral springs. It's too hot for rain to hit the ground, though there is sometimes steamy fog near the springs, but dry lightning is quite a frequent occurrence. Normally each strike would produce a flame, but the denizen has stolen the fire itself.
• Ometeotl | Aztec deity of fire and duality, Ometeotl is at once male and female, up and down, yes and no - two opposite halves of a whole. Xe has stolen the wild flames of the world to teach its consorts a lesson, but consorts do not have a history of being very intelligent; they think they are being unfairly punished and paint the denizen in perhaps a more negative light than xe is casting. Ometeotl's domain is a palace atop the highest mountain on the planet, too far out of reach for hungry little coal lumps.
• Coal Sprites | Odd little creatures, like lumps of coal with arms and legs, beady eyes and bushy mustachios made of soot. Fire is their main source of food, but they don't like to make it themselves - even though long ago the denizen taught them - because they could gather flames from the cracks in the ground, or from burning the dry foliage. If lit on fire, like any coal, they will be consumed by it, which is another reason they prefer wildfire, but they were taught how to make their own without hurting themselves.
